We're using two lines, four SIP extensions, a couple calling groups
and a conference line. Asterisk isn't overkill for this, but it's also
not necessarily simple to set up.

Don't sell yourself short; try it, learn the pitfalls. You should be
able to figure it out through Google, trial and error.
