If anyone is or knows a Senior level - open minded, foss developer
please let me know my company is looking to add another developer to
our team.

Ideally you are:
a PHP Expert
can find your way around *nix
Zend Framework Experience
Ecommerce / Magento Experience (it's more important you be a good
developer and know PHP than know Magento)
Like to code more than Manage a SCM repository or deal with red tape
and non-technical software requirements

Other things we use:

Python
Solr / Lucene
Java
MongoDB
Postgres**
Mysql
Microsoft SQL Server (when we don't have a choice)
