Originally the story was that Clearwire was delaying because GR was going to be their first Mobile Wimax market. That was prior to the Sprint deal.

Now, Sprint is involved in a lawsuit with their iPCS affiliate. iPCS is
close enough that they won't do anything in GR until that suit is
resolved. iPCS is basically trying to kill off Nextel and Clear in
areas they serve. Everything I've heard say they may succeed.
