I tried that a while back and couldn't get it to go. I did get Windows, FreeBSD, and Linux working at the same time (do a manual partiton and install in that order). There was a special hack to the grub to get it to go but I can't remember how that went - I figured it out without too much difficulty by reading either the FreeBSD docs or the grub docs.
It seems like you should be able to install another Linux to a second / partition and manually edit the grub config but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. I was trying Fedora and SuSE. I ended up used separate disks in removable enclosures to get it done.
