[GRLUG] Yahoo voip and hidden performance issues in wine.

I was wondering if anyone has used yahoo voip service in linux, and
how they got it working. one of the install jobs I did for a buddy of
mine who wanted to try linux, required me to try to get yahoo voip
working, but I was unsuccessful in getting yahoo messenger working
correctly through wine. And we also noticed that his BBS game(megamud
installed through wine) lacked alittle experience per hour compared to
the windows installation of it. Anyone have any idea what might be
causing that? his system performances is rocking along from what I can
see. So its got me scratching my head.
