I haven't used SUSE, but I do have RHEL inhouse, and one thing that
may be a consideration is apps available in the repo.  There may not
be a lot of home stuff available in an easy to install form.  i.e. for
my rhel5 server, noone is buildign rpm's of open office.  So if I
wanted to put that on the machine, its not as easy as using yum.

It may be easier than I am making it, but just a thought.
