[GRLUG] Time-Based Internet Blocking?

Do you need any other network connectivity when taking notes?  If not,
the simple approach works,

$ sudo ifconfig eth0 down
-or-
$ sudo route del default
-or-
$ sudo cp /dev/null /etc/resolv.conf
-or-
...
