PS/2 mouse. But I also tried a serial
mouse. Indeed the PS/2 mouse spec is
old. But still widely used, and the 2.4
kernel - at least as configured by Knoppix -
does work.
Re /dev/psaux, I suppose some "diff"
sessions between, say, Knoppix V3.6 and
V5.1 might turn up something. I did write
to the author of Knoppix, who writes a
column for Linux Magazine Pro, about the
issue, but did not seem to light a fire.
