[GRLUG] PCI v1.2 Compliance.

I'm not a "regular peanut" person, & not really qualified to comment on 
MOST of the topics here, but.....

In the PCI Compliance world, as everywhere, there is both good & bad....in 
my opinion.
Yes, most of the "standards" being adopted are good practice, & solidly 
developed.

Does the whole PCI issue make my job harder, you bet.  Does it "keep me 
employed" probably.
Since nothing is ever perfect, I guess we just have to take the bad with 
the good.... & then work to improve the ratio.

Sadly, much of what the unknowing public sees & hears, is FUD, and we have 
to combat THAT 
while at the same time we're working to improve things.

Just my 2 cents...
