Though I have my doubts as to whether it was actually Microsoft that 
started the trend of top-posting (which you seem to be implying), I 
wouldn't care.  A good idea from an evil company or naive newbie is 
still a good idea.  (I prefer top-posting and have been MS-free for 
many years... bottom-posting bugs me, though I can be sensitive to a 
particular thread and bottom post.  Also, my *linux e-mail client* by 
default is set to top-post, until an upgrade last week changed it.)
