[GRLUG] modems

I haven't dealt with modems in Linux in over 10 years.  A friend wants to 
be able to send faxes out with his Linux box, but suspects his modem may 
actually be dead.

Can you buy an internal modem these days that isn't a winmodem?  Anyone 
have one they don't need anymore?
