I've found that using the Windows version of Firefox under Wine with
the windows Flash plugin works more reliably on Linux than using the
Linux versions... So I use Firefox on Ubuntu for browsing and work,
and it's like a rock. And if I need to watch a video, I fire up the
wine version, and it does a great job with that. If you haven't
installed anything under Wine lately, you owe it tto yourself to give
Firefox a try... it's amazingly polished.
