[GRLUG] Backing up Linux Servers

dd is great if you need things like boot sectors and what not. (good for
total loss)
but rsync is faster and can be used as more of a viable backup utility.
(good for data recovery)
Boot sectors can be re-written in a snap using a live-cd and re-running you
boot manager of choice.
