Hm.  I can cover Debian, and I'll have to see if there's anything
special to worry about with Ubuntu, but I've never touched a Suse box,
and haven't played with RHEL or CentOS in a *long* time.

I can, however, demonstrate the vanilla kernel build and install
process that works on many different distros.  It's not necessarily
the best system for any one distro, but it works across most.
