[GRLUG] Get Vista and Samba to work

Can anyone confirm that Vista does NOT talk to samba servers
out-of-the-box?  Just today, in fact, I setup build 5840 on vmware and
was able to map a network drive to Samba 3.0.21c-1 which I compiled
ages ago and setup as a PDC.  A quick authentication login later, I
was reading/writing files normally.  Anyone else?
