[GRLUG] KDE question (shortcuts)

Firefox is not a "KDE" app and therefore does not use the same key
mappings that you have setup in the Control Center.  Therefore, when
Firefox has focus it responds to its own key mappings, not KDE set ones.
If you use Konqueror as your web browser you will not have this issue.
You will need to look for a key mapping extension for Firefox to bind
specific keys to functions.
