Well, after you setup your LTSP server, you can download the NIC
drivers in ISO format as well as floppy. The cool thing about it is
to have network booting also. All you need is NIC, cpu, ram and
video. Any old 600mhz pc with 128mb of ram works flawlesly, but the
ones with PXE booting in BIOS (w/ on-board NIC) are the beaut. ;-)
As for an LTSP live-cd, check out "http://overclockix.octeams.com/".
I just skimmed the first couple of paragraphs and it looks to be a
live-cd with LTSP (server) built-in. Of course, you could always boot
with "slax" and save your settings, e-mails, files, etc. in an USB
flash drive. I believe it can even be tweaked to look for such stuff
during boot from the cd so everything is always there. Wherever you
are. Neat stuff!!
