Topic

Introduction to Metasploit

So you want to pwn stuff across the network, but not sure you can do it without going to jail? Then this presentation is for you. We will begin with the basics of using the Metasploit Framework and continue on following the penetration test methodology to use Metasploit to exploit vulnerable systems in a lab. This presentation is suitable for those with no background in Metasploit or penetration testing as well as penetration testers who want to add the Metasploit Framework to their arsenal.

We invite you to participate, for prizes! You will be required to bring you own laptop to participate, which will need a VMWare Workstation/VmPlayer/VirtualBox installation capable of running multiple VMs that can communicate with each other. You will need to have a Backtrack VM (free) already built for attacking.

A LIMITED number of Victim virtual machines will be provided; so show up EARLY if you want to play along!
