</div>If you have a DHCP server and the switch is in the default config it is<br>
probably grabbing an IP and providing the management interface;<br>
otherwise Procurve's have a Console/Serial port for management.<br>
<br>
The managment is via either a command-line or a TUI (text user<br>
interface). if you attach to the switch and just get a command line<br>
enter "menu" to get to the TUI. It is well designed and very intuitive.<br>
Other than enabling VLAN support (which requires a switch reboot - with<br>
is really fast) you can change any setting you like on-demand.<br>
