</div></blockquote><div><br></div>I have Boxee setup on a Linux box, but it has not been updated in a long long time and it is locking up for me too often. It is my main way to watch TV. I don't have cable or satellite, just Boxee. I also don't have HDMI available so it makes it hard to get a Boxee Box. HDMI is Boxee's only video output. So I am actually extremely happy with Boxee and would highly recommend the Boxee Box, if you want to spend ~$200 and have HDMI.</div>

I am running Plex on a Linux server and it is working great. Only real complaint is the high resource requirement to stream HD (which I don't have a need for because I have equipment from the stone ages - svideo only).<div>
<br></div><div>For $50 I figured I would give Roku a try. It shouldl be good enough to get me through until I get a new TV and have $200 extra. I only am looking for a local media and Pandora player. I am not a fan of Netflix, but Vudu on Boxee Box looks great. I hope Roku has a channel with on-demand movie/tv rentals.<br clear="all">

Oh, and I meant to say I've had pretty good luck with Woot, for the<br>
most part. Returned an Altec alarm clock/radio because of poor design.<br>
I've returned several Jawbone BT headsets I got from a similar site<br>
(Daily Steals) because the batteries have gone stale.<br>
