My kids' fedora box died last week. Rebooted but it never came back up. I cried a little. We had that for a a few years and many versions of fedora/ubuntu.

----- Reply message -----
From: "Bob Kline" <bob.kline@gmail.com>
To: "Mailing List for LUG in greater Grand Rapids, MI area." <grlug@grlug.org>
Subject: [GRLUG] A Moment of Silence
Date: Wed, Sep 7, 2011 20:45

I had a copy of Caldera Linux about
18 years ago, before Caldera became

a pain. company's main Samba virtual machine which had been running Ubuntu
6.06 LTS since 2006. There were times in between power outages when it
had more than a year of up-time. I think I rebooted it only twice in 5
years due to system instability. The VM host server is getting a fresh
new VMWare ESXi 5 install, and the Samba VM will be replaced by Debian
6.
What systems do you have fond memories of?
