</div>If anyone knows of a laptop for under $1k that meets these criteria,<br>
I'd be interested:<br>
* At least 2GB of RAM. Preferably 4GB<br>
* At least 1280 pixels horizontal resolution.<br>
* At least 1024 pixels vertical resolution<br>
* Has been on the market for 1-2 years, and doesn't have a reputation<br>
for falling apart. (Ignoring expected things like battery life)<br>

The rest is easy, but it's finding an affordable laptop that doesn't<br>
fall apart after a couple years that's hard.<br>
