Exactly - they maintain support for any individual desktop release for at LEAST 18 months<br>Which should be plenty... <br><br>Plus with Ubuntu you can get all of the random no one's ever heard of packages and you have the whole community behind you. I don't have time to hack all the time .. whats why I left Debian, and others.<br>

No, now you get to reinstall Linux every 6 months. ;) That's the main reason I left Ubuntu. A rolling release is a requirement for me now, regardless of distro. Mint Debian would be a great replacement for ubuntu now that it's out.<br>

Just because the release comes out, you dont have to upgrade. It is just available if you want it. There will be a lucid-backports repo for really important stuff.<br><font color="#888888">
