GR in about 6 months. The last one<br>Thursday, bolt out of the blue. No<br>rain, wind, etc.<br><br>When the power came back, two<br>PCs were tuned on. One came up<br>fine, the other does nothing.<br><br>Happening before, I didn't expect<br>
this, even while effectively pulling<br>the plug is not the recommended<br>way to shut down a PC.<br><br>I looked for some kind of circuit<br>breaker on the PS, on the off chance<br>that might have something to do<br>with it. Nothing.<br>
<br>So, next best guess is that something<br>happen to the PS. If so, what's the<br>most likely thing to go, and why?<br><br>It's an HP machine. Would any place<br>in the local area be likely to have a<br>replacement at a tolerable price?<br>
