Having a devil of a time creating a new VM on an Ubuntu machine, .. don't<br>
know where the problem lies:<br>

> Imported the appliance on the Ubuntu machine<br>
> The new VM starts & runs fine, BUT HAS NO ACCESS TO THE NETWORK!<br>

It is created properly with a bridged interface, .. and the IP is correct<br>
for the NIC on the host machine, as is the route; the if is UP on the VM<br>
* pingable, but can't connect to the host IF.<br></blockquote><div><br>Check host firewall and routing rules? <br><br><br>(subject changed, as I had a hard time figuring out what Visual Basic has to do with virtual machines...)<br>
