Sansa's work fine with Linux you just have to access the USB setting inside the Sansa clip. <br><br>My family owns 3 different kinds, from a 2Gb MP3 player to a 4Gb media player.<br><br>In all of them the settings had a USB section with 3 options.<br>

I do not have mine on me right now so the directions are not the greatest but should work.<br><br>Instead of the default "auto". Choose anything except auto if it doesn't work use the other setting.<br>Do not keep it on auto and you'll have no problems with it connecting.<br>
