Ok. On the computer I'm trying to install to, there is no CD ROM drive. And I do not have a way to get a USB one sans forking up the money and ordering one, which I'm not willing to do. The computer that DOES have the CD DRIVE cannot RUN the start discs, but can open and explore them as data discs. it has less than 256 megs of RAM. (Also it isn't mine, so suggestions of getting more/upgrading the RAM are out of the question. So don't even say anything on that matter.)<br>

Use a USB CD drive, they work very well and every modern BIOS can boot<br>
from USB. The CD/DVD drive in my laptop has been physically broken for<br>
some time and I've done all my installs/upgrades (openSUSE) from a USB<br>
DVD drive. Specifically an LG "External Super Multi DVD Rewriter"<br>
Model: GSA-E60L, firmware version 1.00. It also works great for<br>
burning single and dual layer disks.<br>
