I would love to see FreeNX, TS type applications (LTSP-http://www.ltsp.org/), and ways to integrate Linux Clients into existing Windows networks/TS environments discussed as a topic for GLRUG meeting sometime. I have been unsuccessful in setting up Citrix or RDP over VPN into work.

<DEFANGED_div>FreeNX is a pretty good equivalent to NoMachineNX. I've been running it for a while without a whole lot of problems. Most of my problems were because I migrated my NoMachine config to FreeNX, which isn't 100% compatible.

What options are out there for publishing Linux applications similar to
Windows Terminal Services?
i.e. Applications run in a window, not having a full Linux desktop.

I don't have any specific application as yet.
I'm looking to open my options for business and productivity
applications like Kontact, Kexi, Kopete.
Those happen to be KDE apps obviously but I'm interested in many others.
There are some very nice desktop apps available.
