oh, another plus on the TDS DSL. its just an Ethernet connection with
plain old DHCP (if you don't opt for a static ip). No required install
disks. No I don't get a commission on referrals lol. <br>

I just love em and I don't normally say that about "utility" companies.

I had to use a similar Windows-only program to set up SBC/Yahoo/AT&T DSL.
I also seem to remember needing Windows to initialize my Comcast Internet
a few years ago.
