[GRLUG] Kernel question

Would like to try a newer kernel to see if it will fix a hibernate problem
with my mobo [not necessarily SuSE specific, looking for confirmation on
the logic for testing/reverting - this is my primary workstation and I
need to confirm the way to regress]:

http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=930936

This seems to be the appropriate place on OBS [OpenSuSE Build Service]:

https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Kernel:stable/kernel-desktop

Got there by searching for kernel:stable:

https://build.opensuse.org/

==================

To install a current stable 4.04 kernel, it appears one should add the
build repo and install:

zypper addrepo
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:stable/standard/Kernel:stable.repo
zypper refresh
zypper install kernel-desktop

Question is, however, if this kernel breaks something else, how does one
revert to the previous kernel? Is it as simple as disable this repo and
reinstall from the base repo? Or, would one expect the install to create a
new grub option?

	TIA!
