+1 on this statement. I've got the same installation being moved from
machine to machine over the years.

Had to work it a bit some times, but always worked. Switched from LILO,
to GRUB to GRUB2... it is just a matter of working it.

Stupid dirty Windows R&R to fix everything has infested the Linux...
