[GRLUG] Fedora 19 gray screen

The machine is an older Dell Dimension with:
2 GHz Celeron processor
2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon 128 MB video display
150 GB SATA HDD

This is a machine intended for dual boot and Windows 7 is already installed.
Ubuntu 10.04 has been previously installed on the machine.

I installed Fedora from DVD and installation went fine.

The symptoms are from cold boots. Fedora either does not boot
at all or hangs at a blank, gray screen after login is attempted.
