Ok, that actually sounds like a lot of fun.* Anyone else interested?

* For certain kinds of fun. I've done this kind of thing for money
before, and it wasn't fun then. However, it does stand to be
potentially fun when you get to teach, train and fool around with
friends.

If you guys want to start running the Ethernet for the new lab, I'd be
glad to not only have your help, but do video of it as well and you
could train the world in how to properly run Cat-5e/6 and terminate
cables. :)

I'm not sure what's happening with the Saturday Social this weekend.

First, if I'm not there, it's extremely probable that some other
LUGGers will be there, so feel free to still go.

Second, I'm not sure if I'll make it or not; I've got to be in Grand
Haven for an indeterminate period on Saturday to help a family member
who needs at-home help for a bit. I don't know when I'll get back to
GRR.

Third, going forward (whether this weekend or starting some weekend in
the future), I'd love to increase the Saturday Social window to 2-6PM
again. We were plenty busy last weekend, with a surprising (and
interesting) problem to tackle. (Simple enough, take an old USB webcam
and put a room up on UStream.tv, using Linux)

I have noticed that most of the people I've run into are not very
strongly computer and networking folks. They can certainly use more in
that area. I'd intended to bring my spool of Cat6, some cable ends,
and train whoever I could grab in how to build network cables.
(Hopefully, I might be able to get them to spring for a Fluke cable
tester)

Anyway, I'll see you guys there if I can. If I can't, I won't. Swing
through either way. :)
