I find selecting the text I want to print and printing just the
selection works well on many misbehaving pages.

There are also a couple of browser plug-ins for Evernote, which let
you clip parts of a page and add it to your (indexed) Evernote notes.
Why use proprietary Evernote instead of ATW's locally indexed cache?
