[GRLUG] Windows remote desktop problem

A new problem that has not been there in the past: Two of us (from
different locations and using different OSs) try to remote access a Win
2008 server at work.

I VPN in. I can ping the server (192.168.1.9). I open Windows Remote
Desktop and tell it I want a session with that computer. Then instead of
the blue logon screen from the computer I get the Windows security
dialog--this is what's new. I don't remember getting that before in this
situation. When I enter the correct username and password (in "Use
another account") it keeps telling me my credentials did not work.

I even tried adding this IP address and the correct credentials to the
credential vault, but that didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas?
