[GRLUG] Is ITT Tech a Good School?

I graduated from ITT with an associates in Software Application Programming. I have since gone on to get my bachelors in Computer Science from another school. I found most the instructors at ITT to be good (Eric Hartwell included) but the course material seemed to be easier than that I found at other schools (I graduated with a 4.0 without doing homework). Several of the courses consisted of 2 hours of power point and then an hour of lab (some of which was copying code from a book into a text editor and then a compiler). I've learned more on the job than I did at either school I've attended. Looking back ITT was a good way to get a quick degree and then get a career in a field but it seemed overpriced. This was 6 years ago so I don't know if it's changed since then.

Does anybody here have or know anyone with first hand knowledge regarding ITT Tech? I am thinking of enrolling in the Information Systems Security Bachelor of Science program at the Wyoming, MI campus. Reviews of ITT on the net are mixed, although everyone agrees ITT is very expensive.

I like the fact it is a rather specific course of study. I am unsure where else a person can learn this stuff so alternative ideas for gaining this type of knowledge would be welcome also.

Thank you.

Brian
