[GRLUG] Best hardware for Linux

Did that. Never could get Ubuntu
wireless going on it, but Puppy works
like a champ. Good enough, since
it's a tiny screen, and just for traveling.

But I would like to see it work on Ubuntu.

An HP Asprion - a6000 - has sound
troubles with Kubuntu 10.04. The
sound is flakey, and I have to use
alsa now and then.

An HP Pavilion works like a champ on
Kubuntu 9.04. Everything works. So
that one I'll just leave alone - "if it ain't
broke, don't fix it."
