Sure.  No problem with that.  Although I consider a portion of my
tuition going to support (directly or indirectly) a freely available
FOSS project, instead of a fairly hostile corporation, a sizable
feature.  Of course...  all the practical benefits probably play
better with the managerial types.

Sakai looks interesting.  Definitely nice that quite a few large
schools support it financially.  Promise to let us know a bit about
what you learn(ed), and/or the testing / implementation at GRCC?
