While on the subject of multiple monitor systems, I am running three monitors:
  - 23" wide screen Sony LCD at 1920x1200
  - 21" sony crt at 1600x1200
  - 19" acer lcd at 1280x1024

Running two nvidia cards, 1 is dualhead and the other is solo. I have one more video card in my 
system that is not getting used because I am running out of space on my desk, although I am really 
thikning about trying 4. =)

Here at the office though everyone has minimum of dual monitor configuration, and four of us have 
capabilities for three-monitor (although only 3 of us use 3 monitors).

Some folks opt in for a 23" wide LCD rather then two monitors...
