[GRLUG] install of Core 3 on a Libretto 110CT

It is likely the ramdisk is causing the kernel panic.  It is probably
trying to load something not present at boot.  Try creating the ram disk
by hand on your setup machine(mkinitrd or mkinitramfs depending on
kernel, distro, etc) with only basic drivers (see man pages for
details).  Does this machine have a USB port?  If so, you may want to
make a thumb drive boot disk and then do a network install...  It may be
easier.
